CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program developed for any individual at any age, skill level, or experience. CrossFit can be commonly defined as constantly varied, functional movement, performed at a high intensity. It is designed to improve the ten general physical skills widely recognized by exercise physiologists.
The ten general physical skills are:
cardiovascular/respiratory endurance - stamina - strength - flexibility - power - coordination - agility - balance - accuracy
Nature frequently provides largely unforeseeable challenges, so we train and practice to equip you for the unimaginable tasks life may throw at you. CrossFit is equal parts gymnastics, olympic weightlifting, and sprinting (biking, running, rowing). With the ability to infinitely vary movement and skill combinations, you will never be bored or get stale in your workouts like we all have in a traditional gym setting.
