There are plenty of good foods out there, but I just had to take a moment to give a shout out to dark chocolate. It's one of my favorite treats, mainly because its high Magnesium content helps with muscle aches and recovery. It's one of the most powerful antioxidants, and has a ton of other minerals and health benefits. Mind you, all these nutrients also come with calories and moderate amounts of sugar. For this reason, dark chocolate is best consumed in moderation. I repeat...IN MODERATION!!!
Also, be aware that a lot of the chocolate on the market is crap. You need to choose high quality stuff... organic, dark chocolate with 70% or higher cocoa content. Thanks chocolate! I always knew you were something special!
